Sunil Narine starred with both bat and ball as Kolkata Knight Riders beat Delhi Capitals by three-wickets in the Indian Premier League (IPL) in Sharjah on Tuesday.

After skipper Eoin Morgan opted to bowl, Narine dismissed Shreyas Iyer and Lalit Yadav to end with figures of 2 for 18 as Delhi posted just 127 on the board.

The southpaw then launched Kagio Rabada for two sixes and a four in an over to ease the pressure during KKR’s chase. He finished with 21 off 10 balls before Nitish Rana’s unbeaten 36 helped KKR get over the line as the side posted its third win in four matches since the restart.

The win took Kolkata to 10 points from 11 matches as it solidified its position in fourth in the IPL points table.
